The Croxley Green Repair Café once again proved the power of community, sustainability, and skill-sharing as it returned on Sunday, September 7.
Volunteers and hosts came together to help dozens of people give their much-loved items a second chance, saving them from landfill and sparking new conversations about repair over replacement.
From clothing to teddies to lawnmowers, each item told a story and, thanks to the work of volunteers at the café, each is ready for to start a new chapter.
Every successful repair not only saves money but also keeps valuable resources in use.
The Repair Café runs on the first Sunday of each month and volunteers can help to fix anything from clothing and bikes to jewellery and even amps.
A spokesperson for Croxley Green Parish Council said: “Another brilliant Repair Café this morning! We saved dozens of items from landfill!
“A huge thank you to our volunteers, hosts, and everyone who brought something to mend.”
