A team of 11 local young dancers will head to Essex next month to compete in their academy’s first-ever national dance competition.
The squad of girls from Croxley Dance Academy (CDA), which was established in July 2020, will compete in the eMotion Dance Competition in March.
The youngest member of the team is eight years old and the oldest is aged 18.
This comes shortly after the CDA performed their first-ever dance show at Watersmeet Theatre in July last year, which premiered to a rapturous reception from the audience.
CDA principal Scarlett Regan said: “We are all very excited to be venturing into the world of dance competitions for the very first time.
“Rehearsals are in full swing, and the dancers have been working incredibly hard over the past months.”
