Parts of Bushey were turned into a film set as the cameras were rolling for an upcoming drama.

TV filming trailers were seen dotted about the town in preparation for shooting new drama series Hanna, an adaptation of the 2011 film of the same name which is being made for Amazon Prime.

Bournehall Road, Nightingale Road and High Road were some of the streets to be used by the crew for exterior scenes. A lighting crane was situated on Nightingale Road for a day to simulate moonlight.

Written by David Farr, who co-wrote the original film, Hanna follows the journey of a young girl with extraordinary skills as she evades the relentless pursuit of an off-book CIA agent and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.

Hanna is due to be released later this year.
