Up-and-coming actors who attend Stagecoach Chorleywood and Rickmansworth were thrilled to attend a prestigious casting last month.
On Saturday, February 8, students attended the Nina Gold casting for an upcoming show in association with Netflix.
The students attended a drama session, focused on improvisation and acting skills, and were observed by a member of casting from Nina Gold. After the session, several students were selected to continue the audition process.
Principal of the school Kitty Gould spoke to CHORLEYWOODnews and said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring these incredible opportunities to our students and I am so proud of all our students for facing that fear of the unknown and jumping in.
“I know they were nervous especially as these days so many castings are now by self-tape, which made this one even more special. I also think the skills you get from just putting yourself out there and giving it a shot are invaluable.
“It was a super session and brilliant to see so many of our students step up and enjoy the workshop so much too! Huge thanks to the Nina Gold casting director for being so lovely to the children.”
