A Sixth Form student from Kings Langley is set to take on a month-long challenge in aid of a cancer charity.
Grace Purser, a Year 12 student at Kings Langley School, is currently completing the Teenage Cancer Trust More Than A Marathon challenge.
The challenge will see Grace complete 28 miles across 28 days.
Speaking to KINGSnews about why she decided to take part in the challenge, Grace said she is hoping to raise awareness of teenage cancer.
She said: “Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 are diagnosed with cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust provides the care and support that aids these young people in getting through it.
“I have always been quite sympathetic about it and then someone in my year was diagnosed with cancer last year. I want to help raise awareness.”
Grace will complete the 28 miles through a combination of walking, running and jogging.
