Ross Coniam, who recently moved to Abbots Langley, and his Nine4Norah campaign will receive further support from the community after his friend, Joe Rylett, has pledged to donate £250 every time a house is sold through the group.
Mr Rylett runs Joe Rylett Bespoke Estate Agent, and met Ross through a friend, has now decided to further support this important cause.
Nine4Norah is a campaign set up by Ross, after he suffered the loss of his daughter Norah in May 2018.
Speaking to WatfordNews, Joe said: “I’ve always wanted to give something back, and this is an extremely important cause for me and definitely something I’d like to associate myself with.
“The group is so important; it allows people to speak about their personal experiences and stops the stigma against men speaking about over all sorts of mental health issues they might have.
“People are surviving by going being involved with the group, and it’s great if I can give back in any way.”
Joe posted the good news on his business’ Facebook page, it read: “Instruct me to help you, friends, family, colleagues move this month and I will give £250 of our fee from every completion to #Nine4Norah which is our chosen charity.”
Ross meanwhile, is delighted to have received the support from his good friend and hopes many people can continue to help the cause.
He said: “I met Joe a few years ago now through another friend. We had not had much contact but after we lost Norah, Joe and his wife have been in more contact and supported us in a variety of ways.
“Having the support from Joe with our campaign means so much to us, not only the financial aid which will help so many people but also the exposure it will provide for our group.
“I am also looking for support from local business and have a few other leads, but Joe had no hesitation in offering me this wonderful opportunity.”
