Residents have the chance to be the voice of the community and drive positive change, as applications open to become a Croxley Green parish councillor.
Currently, the parish council has two unfilled vacancies for the role and is calling for residents to “rise to the occasion”.
Parish councillors can help tackle local issues and be a driving force in making the village an exceptional place.
The hands-on role offers both personal and professional growth, where individuals will have the opportunity to help with setting and managing the parish precept and work with other tiers of government.
From shaping local planning policies to supporting community projects, parish councillors make decisions on behalf of the community.
Applications forms can be downloaded on the website at www.shorturl.at/xOghX or hard copies can be located in the council offices.
Submitted applications will be reviewed by councillors and a decision will be made at the Full Council meeting on Thursday, July 24.
The deadline for applications is Monday, June 16.
