A man has died following a fatal stabbing on Masefield Road in Stanmore, on Monday, September 4.
Emergency services were first spotted at Masefield Avenue shortly after 4.50pm and a man, whose age is not yet known, was found with a stab injury to the chest, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson from the Met Police said: “Officers were called at 16:50hrs on Monday, 4 September to Masefield Avenue, Stanmore following reports that a man had been stabbed at the location. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, with a stab injury.
“Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A crime scene is in place. One man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He has been taken into custody. Enquiries continue.
