Watford Borough Council, in partnership with ArrivaClick have announced that the launch for the town’s demand responsive service will be postponed until later in the year.
The devision comes following the government’s guidance to avoid social gatherings, practice more rigorous social distancing and avoid any use of public transport unless absolutely necessary.
Adam Toone, business development director, said: ‘’The safety of our staff and customers is paramount and in light of current circumstances, we don’t believe this is the right time to be launching our ArrivaClick Watford service.
“Our team have worked hard over the last six months, which will enable us to launch the service when the time is right.
“In the meantime, we’ll be closely following public health guidelines and doing everything we can to keep key services running.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and keep everyone in the know on the new launch date.”
