The Arts Society Moor Park is welcoming art lovers to its monthly morning lectures at Winston Churchill Hall in Ruislip.
The lectures take place on the third Wednesday of each month except in December.
Guests arrive from 10.15am and enjoy complimentary refreshments and conversation before sitting down at 10.50am for an 11am start.
On Wednesday, October 15, travel writer, film producer and lecturer Christopher Bradley will talk about The Art of Uzbekistan – Heart of the Silk Road, which will guide audiences through the traditional artisans and impressive architecture of central Asia.
Then, on Wednesday, November 19, history and art communicator Stuart Harvey will showcase many of the most important works by two of the world’s greatest artists, Michelangelo and Raphael.
More talks are scheduled for next year.
Each talk is also live streamed via Zoom, with members receiving a unique link the day before. Admission is free for members and for non-members a £10 donation is payable on the door.
