A mum from Kings Langley has been out and about spreading the word to ask if anyone will come and join the Rabble.
Rabble is a new fitness club that has been making waves in the capital and is now rapidly sweeping the rest of the UK.
Grown adults re-find their inner child by playing familiar childhood games such as dodgeball, frisbee and British bulldogs but remixed for the 21st century.
Kerry ‘Kes’ Pearson, a former GB canoe polo player, struggled after the birth of her daughter to find a sport club that fostered team spirit and bonding without requiring levels of commitment she was no longer able to give.
She was introduced to the concept of Rabble by a Facebook advert and immediately knew it was something she wanted to do.
She said: “Rabble games are imaginative, high-energy games where players of all ability work together to achieve a common goal.
“However, since each session has a different mix of games and teams it doesn’t matter if you pick and choose which you attend. It’s perfect for busy people where the unexpected can take you away from a training session.
“Furthermore, Rabble is a fitness club and the post-session social is a massive part of the package, something I really value having experienced how isolating being a full-time carer can be.”
For Kes, Rabble has reignited her passion for sport and the community it fosters.
