Hertfordshire Family Centre Service are excited to announce that they have recently secured extra funding from Hertfordshire County Council to be able to offer more groups to families with children aged 0-5 years, living in South and West Hertfordshire.
The focus of these new groups is to provide families that had babies during the COVID-19 pandemic with additional opportunities to socialise with other families, receive additional support from knowledgeable and friendly staff, and to enable their young children to access vital play and learning opportunities alongside other children.
The new groups started in late January and comprise of a Baby Group for children aged 0-6 months, Active Rhyme Time for children aged 6-18 months, and Physical Fun sessions for children aged 18 months plus.
In addition to the new groups that the Family Centre are running, the service is also working closely to support Parent and Toddler Groups in the local community to get back up and running.
To find out more about these new Family Centre groups and Parent and Toddler Groups in your local area, see the Hertfordshire Family Centre Service’s website, www.hertsfamilycentres.org or call 0300 123 7572.
