Harrow Art Centre’s mini fringe festival is back to celebrate 60 years since the borough was first formed in 1965.
The Boiler House Festival will return in August and form a key part of the diamond anniversary celebrations. Organisers are now looking for emerging creatives to showcase their work.
Over the last two years, the festival has welcomed a variety of innovative performances which showcase up-and-coming local writers and artists.
Now gearing up for its third year, organisers are looking for a variety of work, including dance, comedy and visual arts.
They are looking for work that links to the anniversary, including celebrating the borough’s rich history, heritage, and diverse cultures.
Each application has to respond to one or more of the suggested prompts, including ‘What does Harrow mean to you?’, ‘My life/community in Harrow’, and ‘60 years of Harrow’s History”.
Applications are open until 10pm on Wednesday, April 30. Find out more at www.t.ly/uHD-a
