Officers looking to identify a person of interest in an attempted murder investigation have released several images to the public.
Investigators are continuing their enquiries into the incident which happened in the Harwoods Recreation Ground off Vicarage Road, Watford, at approximately 8.30pm on Sunday, October 12.
A 35-year-old man suffered stab wounds as a result and was taken to hospital, where he remains. His condition has been described as stable.
Detective Constable Vishal Khanna, from Watford’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), said: “Since this incident occurred, we have been exploring several different avenues of enquiry, and we are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying the person pictured.
“We want to stress that they are not being treated as a suspect, but as a person who may have information that could assist our investigation.
“If this person is you, or you think you may know who it is, then please contact us as soon as possible.”

Five people have been charged in connection with the assault; all but one have been remanded in custody, with the fifth released on conditional bail.
