Police were called to a pub in St Albans on Saturday, July 29, following an assault which left three people hospitalised.
Hertfordshire Police attended The Peacock in St Albans following reports of an assault taking place outside the pub at around 11pm on Saturday July 29.
The assault allegedly took place on Hatfield Road, close to the junction with St Peter’s Road, with one man sustaining a head injury and another two individuals also sustaining injuries.
All three were taken to Watford General Hospital by the East of England Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “A 52-year-old man from St Albans was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm without intent, and has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue. Anyone with further information is asked to please contact police via 101 or the online web chat, quoting crime reference number 41/60992/23.”
