Aldenham Art Festival will return this year after the great reception it received last September.
The festival will showcase both contemporary and traditional art in the amazing setting of Aldenham Church.
There is something for everyone with over three-hundred pictures on display for people to buy or just to look at and enjoy.
Alongside the beautiful artwork the setting could not be more special, situated in Aldenham’s historic medieval Church it is a lovely way to spend your weekend strolling round the village and getting to know the place.
As well as this, all profits raised from the sales over the course of the weekend will go straight to helping preserve the fabric of the very building that is hosting the festival. Last year saw over £3,000 raised.
The event is being held in association with Aldenham Golf and Country Club which is situated directly across the road from the church.
The church will be open for viewings Friday 11-7pm, Saturday 11-4:30pm and Sunday 12-4:30pm.
There will also be a preview evening held on Thursday night for any budding art collectors who want to get in ahead of the crowd. There is an advisory donation of £5 per adult which include a glass of Prosecco, wine or soft drink. Additionally there will be finger food and live music.
