Two men and a woman have been arrested and charged in relation to an on-going police inquiry following the closure of the LL Camps based at St Margaret’s School, Merry Hill Road, Bushey. The three were arrested on Thursday, August 27 in an operation led by detectives based within Hertfordshire’ Constabulary’s specialist Joint Child Protection Investigation Unit. The details of those arrested and charged are as follows: Tal Landsman, who is 25-years-old and from Admiral Drive in Stevenage, has been charged with conspiracy to cause cruelty to a child and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice following his arrest at this home address. Larry Lewis, who is 55-years-old and from Lullington Garth, Borehamwood has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice following his arrest at his home address. Adrianne Landsman, who is 56-years-old and from Gresham Road in Edgware, has been charged with conspiracy to wilfully neglect children so as to expose them to risk of harm. All of the alleged offences relate to the potential destruction of evidence and obstructing police in their inquiries, and the requisite responsibilities of the safeguarding of children between August 1, 2015 and August 27, 2015. All three have been released on bail to appear before St Albans Magistrates Court on October 6. Detective Chief Inspector Dave Newsome said: “We fully understand that parents and professionals will be concerned due to the nature of the investigation, but we are making significant progress to determine the full facts of what remains a complex investigation. If anyone has further information they are asked to contact 101 where they will be signposted to an officer on my team.” Picture courtesy of Facebook
