An independent estate agency’s Northwood office has made the short list in the biggest ever competition of its type to find the UK’s best estate agents.
Gibbs Gillespie’s office in Green Lane has been judged one of the top 50 estate agency branches in the UK – out of a total of 26,000 others.
The competition is organised by leading industry group The Property Academy in association with Rightmove and forms part of the EA Masters events this year.
The branch’s Senior Manager, Daniel McGowran, said: “It’s fantastic news. The Property Academy embarked on the biggest ever study of the British estate agency industry in its quest to shine a light on the best performing agents and improve customer service standards.
“And for us to make the top 50 with a chance to be crowned number one is exciting and a real testimony to our team’s hard work and focus on looking after clients with integrity and professionalism.”
The competition’s study focussed on the consumer experience and involved analysis of hundreds of data points, as well as a large-scale mystery shopping exercise.
The agency’s co-founder, Paul Gillespie, said: “The mystery shopping aspect of it alone was a huge undertaking but really does highlight the good agencies out there.
“We’re delighted that the hard work our team has put in has been recognised. We invest heavily in our staff’s training to ensure they can deliver the best possible service to our clients.
“We’ve been successfully serving the people of Middlesex and beyond since 1991 and making the top 50 estate agents in the UK is another proud moment for us.”
The results will be announced and the best agents honoured at the EA Masters event in central London on September 22.
