| CCTV released following a theft in Watford |

Police are releasing the CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak with in connection with an investigation into the theft of a purse in Watford. At around 3.35pm on Thursday, July 26 the victim, a 29 year old woman, had been in a clothes shop in the Harlequin Centre. At some point an offender unzipped her bag and removed her purse. PCSO Barnaby Goding is investigating and said: “I would like to speak with the woman pictured as part of my inquiries; it may be that she has information which would assist my investigation. I would ask that she contact me or anyone who recognises her to contact me.” Anyone with information about the incident should contact PCSO Goding via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number C1/12/3572.
