Watford FC have confirmed their first signing of the summer transfer window – Will Hughes from Derby County for an undisclosed fee, subject of a medical.
The 22-year-old, who is currently on international duty with the England U21 squad at the European Championships in Poland, has signed a five-year deal.
He will join on his return from international duty and is Marco Silva’s first signing since his appointment on May 27.
The Surrey-born playmaker played 190 games for The Rams’, scoring 12 goals during his time at Pride Park.
