A drug dealer who lives close to Pinner Park school has been jailed for 22 months and banned from driving for three years. Amar Bhargava 22, of Edward Road, pleaded guilty at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, June 22 to one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, two counts of possession of Class B drugs and one count of dangerous driving. Bhargava was arrested in August 2014, after he was found in possession of a large amount of cannabis. A search of his home address led to over £600 in cash being seized. He was charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. On September 11 2014, Bhargava was arrested and charged with dangerous driving and possession of cannabis, after he drove at police officers who were trying to stop him. His car was later found abandoned with cannabis inside. On Tuesday, March 3, officers executed a search warrant at an address in Marlborough Hill, Harrow, where Bhargava was present. He was found to be in possession of a quantity of cannabis which he tried to discard. He was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and remanded in custody. PC Fran Shepherd, of Harrow Police, said: “Bhargava, a persistent drug dealer, has finally been jailed after pleading guilty to several offences. Harrow police will continue to target and bring before the courts those who think they can escape justice.”
