An 11-year-old from Chorleywood has recently completed a six-hour trampolining challenge to raise money for Hillingdon Hospital’s children’s ward. Olly Munn was inspired by Children in Need and wanted to help those less fortunate than him, including children who are in hospital over the festive session. It was one of the coldest days of the year, but with encouragement from some of his friends who visited on the day and supporters on YouTube, where he live streamed much of the challenge on his channel, he successfully completed the challenge. He raised £400 (£300 via JustGiving and £100 cash) and got a donation of books and toys from Tesco in Amersham too. He used the £100 cash to buy PS4 games and Bluetooth speakers for the new teenagers’ room as requested by the matron. He also gave out toys and sweets to everyone on the wards and left some more toys and books for the nurses to wrap up as gifts to be given on Christmas Day. As well as this, he gave a big box of Roses to the nurses. To donate, visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/olly-munn
