Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward after an aggravated burglary saw two men posing as police officers steal money from a woman’s home in Pinner. The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 22, at around 8pm in Village Way, Pinner, whereby two suspects posing as police officers gained entry into a victim’s home. It is believed they were armed with a knife and a screwdriver. The victim believed the men were a relative returning home, police were told. A police spokesperson recommended advice for others to prevent similar situations. He said: “Your front doors are the primary route of entry and exit into the house. You can improve home security by making simple adjustments to your front door, including a door viewer.” Anybody who may have witnessed the incident is to call crime stoppers on 08000 555 111 or 101.
