The screening of the 80s classic Top Gun at Bovingdon airfield has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Couple Ria and Steve Bewick of Stanley Stores in Bovingdon were arranging the open air cinema experience which was due to take place on August 31. The event, featured in last month’s My Kings News, would have seen the film shown on a 10 metre screen with a bucking bronco, dodgems and food courts. The couple explained that it was due to personal circumstances and added it will not be going ahead in the near future.
