Detectives investigating a burglary in Hemel Hempstead have released images of some of the items stolen in a bid to trace them and the person responsible for taking them. Between 11am and 12.10pm on Saturday, September 16, entry was gained to an address in Wrensfield. A search was carried out and a small, brown, leather jewellery box containing several items was taken. Among the items stolen were – A ruby ring (pictured) – A diamond ring (pictured) – Two sets of pearls – Emerald and diamond earrings – Blue pearl earrings – Gold knot earrings – A gold wedding band – An RAF pin from World War Two – A Celtic silver cross necklace – A silver bracelet with a snake head design Detective Constable Colin Knowles from the Hemel Local Crime Unit said: “I would like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have come across the items or seen them advertised for sale. I would also like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the times stated.
