Officers investigating an incident of criminal damage in Rickmansworth are appealing for information and witnesses. Between 3pm on Sunday, August 20 and 9am the following day, damage was caused to an ultrasound unit in Batchworth Lake at Rickmansworth Aquadrome. PCSO Alan Waller said: “The unit, which helps to prevent the build-up of algae, had been cut free from its metal anchors and the unit itself had also been damaged.” Anyone with information that could assist the police investigation is asked to contact PCSO Waller via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C2/17/2652 or report information online at www.contacthertspolice.uk/Report. Alternatively, contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
