Appeal following collision in St Albans

Officers investigating a collision in St Albans are appealing for information and witnesses.

At around 1.55pm on Wednesday, April 5, a black Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a collision with a cyclist at the St Stephens Hill roundabout junction with Griffiths Way.

The cyclist – a woman aged in her 50s – suffered minor injuries and was taken to Watford General Hospital by ambulance.

PC Rishi Patel, who is investigating, said: “We are still working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this collision and I am appealing for anyone who saw the Corsa or cyclist prior to the collision or witnessed the collision itself to contact me via the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 397 of April 5.
