Appeal following burglary in Abbots Langley

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary in Abbots Langley. The offence took place between 6pm and 9.05pm on Monday, September 11, at a property on Langley Lane. The offender(s) gained entry to the house by smashing a patio door and whilst inside removed car keys, a ring, a watch and a quantity of cash. Detective Constable Paul Burton, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated to get in touch. “In particular, I am appealing to anybody who might have been waiting at the bus stop on Langley Lane during this time. Did you see anything suspicious?” Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Burton via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C2/17/2841 or report information online at https://www.contacthertspolice.uk/.
