Widow gets payout after Stanmore factory worker dies from asbestos related cancer

A widow whose husband died from asbestos-related cancer whilst working at a Stanmore factory has won a pay-out worth thousands from his past employer.

Carol Richmond, wife of former Doulton Industries worker, Reg, who died of lung cancer linked to asbestos exposure at the Parr Road factory has secured an out-of-court settlement including costs for care at St. Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil.
